Scrolls IV: Oblivion cheat codes, tips, and hints are all over the
internet. Accessible at the tips of your fingertips, they can get you
out of some real jams in the game. Who wouldn’t want infinite money
or learn faster spellcasting?
Some of these are just glitches or secrets discovered by chance.
Others are intentionally built in, but kept secret by programmers. For
an example of a non-cheat secret, continually hold the block button
down. If this is too difficult you can tape it down. Doing this will
allow you to cast spells roughly twice as fast.
But that isn’t a true Oblivion cheat. For that kind of thing, you
have to do some digging online. There are complete walkthroughs
available if you’re really stuck. Exploits, which take advantage of
innocent errors, are the most fun, because it’s not a “really
real” Elder Scrolls Oblivion cheat. It’s just a secret someone
happened upon.
Try this Elder Scroll Oblivion cheat: You can duplicate any inventory
item if you get out a bow with arrows (you’ll need about 25 arrows)
and draw the bow back without shooting them. Keep it pulled back and
access your inventory. Select the arrows twice. Next, find the item
you want to make a second of, and drop it. This dropped item will
multiply into the number of arrows in your quiver.
The most important oblivion cheat you could ever come across, is, of
course, infinite money. One method consists of going to the Rosethorn
Hall (in Skingrad) and gathering an unlimited number of shepherd’s
pies. You get them from your servant there. You then brew them into
“cure disease” potions. Then you can sell the potions in parcels
for profit. Money from thin air – well, from pies.
