There
are plenty of side quests in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, but the main
quest oblivion is where the game really pushes along. The plot is
crisp, exciting, and extremely challenging. When you are negotiating
any of the main quest oblivion, you should be careful to do things
right, because your characters will benefit, and the game will be more
entertaining.
Once you have passed the first few main quests, it will be time for
you to meet Barus. When you get in touch with him, he will let you
know that someone is following him. He will ask you to follow the guy
who is following him. Then Barus will head into the basement. His
trailer will follow. Light a torch and head after them. Soon, you will
be in combat with a heavily armed maniac. Together with Barus, you can
take this guy out. Search his corpse and you’ll find a book titled:
Comentaries of the Mysterium Xarses Volume 1. This is a good book to
have as it will help your magical skill increase. Barus will send you
off to speak to the mages and you will get the second volume of the
series. This will help you find the third and fourth ones as well.
Using all the books there is a way to find the Mythic Dawn Shrine. It
will involve wandering around a cemetery for a bit looking for clues
as to the whereabouts of this important main quest oblivion milestone.
Once you reach the Mythic Dawn Shrine, you will most likely face a ton
of enemies. Dispatch them and secure the Mysterium Xarxes. Once you
come in contact with the book the cult members will be extremely
unhappy and attack you on sight! Take care of business and remember to
take the spoils of your well deserved victory. Then, when all is
secure, go back to
Cloud
Ruler
Temple
and contact Jauffre. Hand the Mysterium Xarxes to
Martin.
This should help you get through a few tough areas. Remember, Elder
Scrolls IV Oblivion is not a sprint; it is a grueling marathon that
will challenge even the most ardent of gamers. Each main quest
oblivion should be taken seriously and be explored fully!
