Elder
Scrolls IV Oblivion Sets The Trend In RPG Technology
We are used to non-playing console's (NPC's) pre-configured acts in
role playing games (RPG). If we repeat or go back to the previous
scene, they will act and behave in the same way as they do when we
first meet them. But with
Bethesda
's latest NPC scripts for Elder Scrolls IV
Oblivion, NPC would never behave the same way, twice.
Called Radiant AI (artificial intelligence), this Elder Scrolls IV
Oblivion NPC scripts is the very first in the RPG technology that
introduced a 'thinking' non playing console. If an NPC wants to eat,
it will eat. If it doesn't want to talk to you, you can't make it even
if you kill it. It may even fight for its life if it thinks its life
is in danger. It reacts to its environment. And it will act for
survival if it must.
With Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion,
Bethesda
is said to have set a new trend in RPG technology
and gaming experience. The Radiance AI gives the feeling of
unpredictability with every act that a player makes, thus heightening
the excitement in every step of the game.
Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion takes off where the best-selling (and
award-winning to boot) Elder Scrolls III: The Morrowind ends: in
Tamriel where Emperor Uriel (voice of Patrick Stewart) reigns. At the
start of Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, you'll learn of Emperor Uriel's
assassination and your quest to find the unknown 'Heir to the
'Throne.' With a throne that sits empty, Tamriel is bound to
destruction, especially with the opening of Oblivion. Daedras, deadly
creatures that inhabits the
land
of
Oblivion
, invades Tamriel and attacks the people from all
over the town. Your main quest with Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion,
therefore, is to find the lost heir to restore peace on the lands of
Tamriel.
