Cure Vampirism Oblivion

If your character has been turned into a vampire the only way to return to human form is to cure vampirism oblivion. If you’ve reached this stage then you have been a vampire for quite some time – at least three full days. Now you’ve decided that drinking blood and sneaking around in the dead of night doesn’t give you the same thrill as it used to. It would be nice to be Blade, and be able to have all your abilities and walk around in the sun, but unless you have UV block 5000 for your character, this isn’t happening anytime soon.

There is, however, a way to cure vampirism oblivion. It involves completing the vampire quests. First, you need to contact Raminus Polus at Arcane University. Discuss a cure for vampirism with him and he will tell you to go to Castle Skingrad to speak with the Count on the subject. After going through the Count’s underlings, you will finally be granted permission to speak to him. He will tell you his sad tale of vampirism and how his wife is afflicted and he cannot find a cure. He will give you some advice on how to find the cure and will implore you to find a cure for his wife. The Count will tell you the location of a witch that knows a bit about how to cure vampirism oblivion.

Once you find her it may take a bit of conversation until she reveals her knowledge. She will give you a recipe for a potion. You must travel around and find the ingredients. This is no simple potion, however, and it will take some time and energy to secure some of the more eclectic ingredients. One of the requirements is the actual blood of an Argonian. In addition, you have to destroy a vampire named Hindaril and collect his ashes. After you gather all the ingredients you will receive two doses – one for the Count’s wife and one for yourself. Drink up and cure vampirism oblivion.
